January 9, 2008Ken Wharfe a former royal bodyguard to Princess Diana has told the Diana Inquest that her private conversations were being recorded by the intelligence services. Ken Wharfe, who served Diana for six years, said the “Squidgygate” tapes of Diana speaking intimately to a friend in 1989 were probably made by GCHQ.

The jury at the inquest heard this afternoon that Princess Diana had been told by friends that the team of surveillance people were part of an “organisation” who had been given orders to monitor her movements.
